I like that interpretation a lot actually. The Kids from Yesterday is one of the songs from Danger Days that still connects with me as a 25 year old instead of the 15 year old who got the album on release and would listen to it non stop.

it's both nostalgic and critical about the past but extremely hopeful about the future.

Especially since I seemed to miss a good deal of my slightly older childhood, from about 8-11 was just so chaotic I kinda missed being a kid and yeah this songs just so amazing
